As competitors like Intel falter, AMD\u2019s differentiated approach could put it on a trajectory to gain significant market share, particularly at the embedded edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"amds-embedded-rebound-and-push-into-edge-ai\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">AMD\u2019s Embedded Rebound and Push Into Edge AI<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>AMD\u2019s acquisition of Xilinx laid the foundation for its embedded success. This purchase brought a robust adaptive computing portfolio \u2014 FPGAs, SoCs, and RF technologies \u2014 that AMD has tightly integrated with its x86 CPUs, GPUs, and NPUs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an invite-only fireside chat with analysts last week, Salil Raje, SVP and GM of AMD\u2019s Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group, the depth of that integration was on full display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raje outlined AMD\u2019s five-pillar strategy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fortifying its adaptive portfolio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improving usability for developers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Growing x86 embedded market share<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Winning high-value custom silicon deals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading in embedded AI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>AMD isn\u2019t just positioning itself as a component vendor \u2014 it\u2019s becoming a \u201cplatform enabler\u201d across industries like automotive, aerospace, communications, and robotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"amds-edge-over-intel-in-embedded-strategy\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">AMD\u2019s Edge Over Intel in Embedded Strategy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s clear that AMD is not playing catch-up \u2014 it\u2019s pushing ahead where others stall.
